Nafasi on Centre

Nafasi on Centre is a creative home in the Hill District that supports artists, cultural workers, and community members through events and collaborative projects. The gallery features exhibitions that include visual art, installations, and community-based work that reflect the history and voices of the Hill District. Nafasi also hosts performances, workshops, and conversations that encourage collective learning and cultural exchange. The space is available for rental, with flexible areas that accommodate meetings, rehearsals, and gatherings.

Nafasi on Centre is a project of the Hill Community Development Corporation, created as part of the Greater Hill District Master Plan’s goal to build upon the neighborhood’s Black cultural legacy. Through ongoing partnerships and community leadership, the Hill CDC stewards Nafasi as a space that honors the history of the Hill District and supports creative work with a broader community purpose.
